BASE NOTARIZATION


 Fees 

$5.00 - Single notarization

$0.50 - Each additional page for copy certifications

$5.00 - Each additional notarization during the same session

 Description 

These are the fees when client visits notary's location; however, additional fees are added for remote online, mobile, or other notary-related services (see below). Includes acknowledgments, oaths and affirmations, jurats, copy certifications, translation certifications, and other notarial acts.

MOBILE NOTARY


 Fees 

$35 fee covers: $30 one-time travel fee per session + $5 single notarization 

 Description 

Notary travels to client's location or another agreed-upon space, if travel is available. The travel fee is not required by New Mexico state law, but it helps defray typical costs associated with travel. 

 


REMOTE ONLINE NOTARY


 Fees 

$30 fee covers: $25 one-time technology fee per session + $5 single notarization 

 Description 

Session takes place in a secure online notarization platform. Procedures for the client include the following:

1. Receiving an email link to start process;

2. Uploading documents;

4. Completing ID analysis and authentication; and

5. Meeting notary in a live video.

*Additional costs may apply if client has witnesses, additional signers or additional notarizations to cover platform fees.

 


TRANSLATION FACILITATION

 Fees 

$25 fee covers: $20 facilitation + $5 single notarization 

 Description 

Translation facilitation is a service offered as part of the list of notary services. Clients may request a notary service and a certified translation or verification of the accuracy of the translation. For clarification on what this is, please read the American Translators Association's explanation at What is a Certified Translation?

APOSTILLE FACILITATION

 Fees 

$50 fee covers:

•  $10 travel 

•  $3 apostille filing 

•  standard black & white printing up to 10 pages ($.50/additional page)

•  priority flat rate mailing to NM Secretary of State + pre-paid mailing for documents to be returned to the client at a U.S. mailing address

 Description 

An apostille is required for documents that are being sent to a foreign country that is a party to the Hague Convention of 1961. Consult the Apostille Country Checker for participating countries. For more information, consult the New Mexico Secretary of State webpage.  

Include in the notary intake form the following: the requesting country, client's name, mailing address, and phone number. I require this information to file the apostille request with the NM Secretary of State.

*Notarization is in addition to apostille facilitation fee.


NON-NOTARIAL SERVICES

Form I-9

If an employee is asked to locate a notary public to complete the Form I-9/Employment Eligibility Verification, we can support with this. Please bring acceptable froms of ID according to the form I-9 instructions! The notary does not act in the capacity of a notary, but they perform the required actions as an authorized representative. 

 

Printing & Mailing

$10 travel fee + mailing and printing fees (will vary)

We can support printing, mailing, or physical delivery of documents to client in the notary's current location.
